Megan
Office Manager
Megan is the Office Manager. She grew up in dentistry, her father and grandfather were both dentists. She started out as an assistant for many years before transitioning to office manager, giving her a vast knowledge of both the clinical and financial side of running a dental practice.She and Dr. Hatfield also became certified CEREC trainers in 2019. They go all over the state teaching other offices about the newest 3D technology. Fun fact — they are the only female duo in the Southeast!
In her free time, she loves hanging out with her husband and two children. This winter her goal is to teach her kids to ski!
Adam
Patient Coordinator
Adam is the patient coordinator. He has a 5 year old son. He moved from Massachusetts in 2014 ago to escape the cold and has never looked back. He has been involved with dentistry for the majority of the last 14 years. He likes staying busy, he also works part time as a pharmacy technician because he enjoys helping people.
Sonya
Dental Hygienist
Sonya is our full time hygienist. She is a native of Durham, NC and graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a BS degree in Dental Hygiene in 1996. She is an advocate of health and fitness which spills over in oral care and education which she loves to share with her patients. Sonya was a collegiate fastpitch athlete at UNC and played three seasons of Pro fastpitch with the Carolina Diamonds in Gastonia, NC from 1999-2001. Now in her free time she loves playing tennis, hiking with her Belgian Malinois, Zoot, fishing and making time with family and friends. She is honored to be a part of Dr. Hatfield’s Team!
Ginger
Lead Dental Assistant
Ginger is our lead assistant. She has two children, two grandchildren with a third on the way. She has lived in Travelers Rest all her life. She has been a dental assistant for over 20 years. She likes dentistry because she can help people and make them feel comfortable during their procedure. In her freetime she likes spending time with family and friends and spending time outdoors.
Tammy
Dental Hygienist
Tammy grew up in Lexington, Kentucky. She earned her Dental Hygiene degree from the University of Kentucky (go Wild cats!) in 1986. She married her husband Glen that same year and they moved to his hometown, here in Greer SC. She has one daughter and one grandson. In her free time she loves spending time with her family and supporting her grandson at all his athletic activities. She also loves going to the beach and reading. She is very excited and happy to be a part of Dr.Hatfields dental family.
